| This self catering cottage is ideally situated for easy access to the Borders andproximity to both Edinburgh Airport (10miles) and Glasgow (35 miles) and the two train stations Bathgate and Linlithgow with very regular trains to both major cities. Bicycle storage is available - there are a number of established cycle routes in the area either in the countryside or following the canal. | There are a multitude of sporting facilities in the area, from golf to artificial skiing and lots of lovely woodland walks and a large adventure playground at Beecraigs country park; Deep Sea World aquarium at North Queensferry, and a lovely swimming pool at Linlithgow. You can see some pictures here. There is a large Tescos in Bathgate (4 miles) and Sainsburys in Linlithgow (5 miles). | |
