Our holiday 'cottage' is part of a beautiful, recent conversion of an earlier farmstead, set in large, beautiful gardens 1000ft up in the hills above Linlithgow in the historic central region of Scotland. Our views stretch for miles in all directions. Every season offers different pleasures. We can be cross-country skiing from our back door in winter and sunbathing in the garden in summer. Ground Floor: fully equipped dining kitchen, large utility room with freezer and washing machine and microwave. Large galleried living/dining room with a wonderful wood-burning stove. Upstairs is a large double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and ample space for a cot if required. On the gallery above the living room is the large twin bedroom, with extra sleeping capacity if required. This self-catering cottage is ideally situated for easy access to the Borders and proximity to both Edinburgh Airport (10miles) and Glasgow (35 miles) and the two train stations Bathgate and Linlithgow with very regular trains to both major cities.
